This annual event

Membership dues are not deductible
as a charitable contribution for Federal income tax
purposes, but may be partially deductible as a business
expense. It is estimated that for 2006, 48% of your
NYAMB dues and 38.557% of your NAMB dues are not deductible
because they are related to lobbying activities on behalf
of the members. Of the $375 charged for Professional
membership, $230 is allocated to NYAMB dues and $145
to NAMB dues. Of the $375 charged for Affiliate membership,
$280 is allocated to NYAMB dues and $95 to NAMB dues.
Of the $275 charged for Associate membership, $230 is
allocated to NYAMB dues and $45 to NAMB dues. Members
joining in January through September 2007 will expire
12/31/07.
