The New York Association of Mortgage Brokers respects your privacy and accordingly, it is NYAMB policy not to sell the names and addresses of its members to any third parties. However, the NYAMB does place the names of its Professional Members on its website and, for the benefit of its members, does make members' names available to certain business partners with which your Association has negotiated special deals for you (e.g., U.P.S.). Finally, the NYAMB does send your information to the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) since a portion of your NYAMB dues goes to the NAMB for your membership dues in that association.

Membership dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for Federal income tax purposes, but may be partially deductible as a business expense. It is estimated that for 2006, 48% of your NYAMB dues and 38.557% of your NAMB dues are not deductible because they are related to lobbying activities on behalf of the members. Of the $375 charged for Professional membership, $230 is allocated to NYAMB dues and $145 to NAMB dues. Of the $375 charged for Affiliate membership, $280 is allocated to NYAMB dues and $95 to NAMB dues. Of the $275 charged for Associate membership, $230 is allocated to NYAMB dues and $45 to NAMB dues. Members joining in January through September 2006 will expire 12/31/06
