NYAMB's Position on the NAMB Assessment:

The NYAMB is conjunction with the other large State Affiliates of NAMB has directed the NAMB Board of Directors to show the respect that our dues paying membership deserve. The industry as a whole is suffering financially and professionals are doing whatever they can to bring their expenses in line with the reduced revenue stream they are now faced with. The NYAMB has demanded that NAMB do the same. The Board of Directors of the NYAMB takes the responsibility that you, the member, have entrusted to them seriously.

The NYAMB’s official position is, “Expenses must be brought in balance with current NAMB income prior to discussions regarding any increase in dues or an assessment.” Until NAMB complies with this we are recommending to the membership that they do not commit to paying the NAMB assessment.
